We can't wait for next year.Located only five miles from the heart of downtown Pigeon Forge, Black Bear Ridge Mountain Views is a great choice for groups and multiple families traveling to the Smokies. The location is so convenient to downtown as well as restaurants and shopping. With TVs in every room (2 in the living room), everyone was able to watch what they wanted (and we didn't miss a minute of the Super Bowl). The beds and the sofas are extremely comfortable.
I love that every bedroom has it's own bath with an additional half-bath on the main floor.

And we made full use of the kitchen, cooking almost all of our meals. This house has one of the best equipped kitchens of any I have ever stayed in. I was a bit concerned about the noise level when I learned all of the carpet had been removed from the bedrooms since our stay last year but I worried for uldn't tell the difference and the hardwood floors are beautiful. Our group of 17 adults and 6 children had plenty of space. This house was perfect for our annual Super Bowl weekend trip - this was our second time in this house and our third time with these owners. Roger passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in 2017. And from Roger and Sierra’s collective minds and ideas and working together as a team, Black Bear Vacations was born almost 15 years ago! Sierra still has to use a calculator most of the time (lol) but she has extensive knowledge and experience in real estate and hospitality. They have 2 children, ages 6 and 10, and they are already following in the footsteps of the family business :) Roger had a natural gift for understanding numbers and math as well as a very strong background in mortgages and banking. The owners, Roger and Sierra Tinsley, both graduated from Appalachian State University in 2004.
